So, Perth got a Borders bookstore late last week. I'd forgotten until today when someone reminded me.

FUCK YEAH

"Graphic Novels". Awesome. I'll have to compare their prices to those at Quality Comics though. And I didn't even get to the downstairs section (due to time restraints), AND it was 20% off. So I decided to indulge while I could, and got the Art of World of Warcraft for $31. Not bad. They also carry stuff like DnD manuals, quite possibly cheaper than in Tactics.

I borrowed this book off a friend, and I loved the 70s pseudo-Yes art on the cover.

But look who was one of the authors cited on the back as loving it...

Also, I sat down today, and listed down a few of the items on my Amazon wishlist I want to grab while I've stupid enough to blow some of my tax return.

About $350 Australian, before shipping ($280US).

For DVDs and books. And that's NOT including the expensive books like the one on mihirungs (giant flightless predatory geese from Cenozoic Australia), or thyreophoran dinosaur biology.

Not that anyone has ever bought me anything off my wishlist, but this book sounds incredibly fun.
