Giant carnivorous mice decimating island sea-bird rookeries.

Go there, and you can find a link to both the news article, and footage from Nature.com showing these mice eating a live albatross chick.

What this really illustrates is a handful of evolutionary principles - island populations can drastically be altered in size quickly; effects of mixing of non-endemic species with species ill-equipped to handle it; behavioual shifts as resources change availability; and the relationship between things like diet and body size.
